I have not been able to delete unwanted bookmarks in Fire Fox 3. Following the directions in the FF help section will "delete" the bookmarks but on leavning and restarting FF the bookmarks reappear. Any suggestions about how to permanently delete bookmarks.

What happens when you right click on the bookmarks and select delete?

Bookmarks file is probably corrupted. Back up the current, manually delete it from the folder.

    cheers ...

Thanks, but R click/delete will delete them but on restart FF they are not deleted, weird. Please explain "manually delete", as I thought that the directions in the bookmarks help file were doing exactly that. I would like to clear out the entire bookmarks list, but leave the folders, so I really don't need to back them up.
