Inadvertently while using Macrium backup I created several "local discs" (N,M,O,etc) and now I want to delete them but they are write protected. How would you go about deleting them?
    System XP, IE7, PC.

Where are these "local" discs situated? On the same drive? Outside? What is the exact error message?

    cheers ...

They are situated on "my computer", with the listing of "hard disc drives" where "C" and the external HDD are listed. When I right click on them there is no option for delete (likewise under file and edit no option for deleting them) but you can try reformat but it says they are write protected and won't reformat either. I would like to get rid of them.

Figured it out! Went into properties of the "disc" and under advanced was option to remove the disc. Done and all OK now.
However, I wonder if anyone out there uses this program and if so could they provide me with a screen shot of the "output" as I seemed to get 8-10 files that each was exactly the same with the Macrium logo on them. I may have not set my backup correctly and would like to use the program if I can understand it. thanks

Have you been to the Macrium website and reviewed their support/help section, or asked the Macrium techs for assistance?

Have done, but haven't gotten answers yet. Will keep trying. BTW I find that Karen's Replicator does a fantastic job and is simple doing exactly what the name says, which to me is good back up. What do others think?
