Anyone else having trouble with the Dell Driver Updates?

I check the Driver Downloads every once in awhile.

Usually there are about 10 driver updates for my E1405.

New Wireless Driver - Downloaded it, it completely screwed up my wireless that was working fine. I did a restore.

New Video Driver - Downloaded it, it screwed up my display that was working fine. I did a restore.

Dell pop-up for new drivers .. for Wireless driver 3 months later, I downloaded it, again it screwed up my wireless that was working fine.

So I say, unless something's broke, I don't go to Dell's driver site.

Then yesterday, that stupid Dell pop-up to "optimized" my computer keeps coming up, of course the Wireless update is on there, no thanks!

The only driver update that worked, was the Phillips DVD driver update.

HOW DO YOU GUYS SORT THROUGH THE BOGUS UPDATES?

    Thanks

As long as everything is working I don't update anything, why take a chance.
