On booting up my Dell Inspiron 1721 running Vista after fitting a replacement keyboard, the screen opened up in Dell MediaDirect, which I have never used.

The instructions for leaving MediaDirect are to press EXIT then powerup anew, but when I try this the screen again opens in MediaDirect. How can I get back to the Vista environment?
