I decided to install the Dell XP Pro Service Pack 2 CD on my W3J. I thought maybe the CD-Key wouldn't work or something like that, and I was right. When it came time to put in the cd-key, it said it had been installed on too many computers. Still, I called up Microsoft and gave them that long number that came up. Without any questions, they activated my copy even though it had already been installed on 3-4 other computers. I was so happy. So from now on, if I ever have any cd-key problems with Windows, I can just call up Microsoft and have them activate it. This is great.

The fine prints of the user agreement says you are not suppose to install the software on multiple systems unless you have bulk licenses. But that wont stop some from infringing it, nor will it stop BSA from prosecuting offenders.

Good for you AbN610 ! And good PR for MS.
The little guy has to win once in awhile ! It's not like you haven't contributed to Mr. Gates and you're not trying to sell 100 pirate copies.
Dell Windows XP Pro CD worked on Asus W3J!
