Guys this is a business Dell desktop in a Boutique store. Runs the Quick books Point of sale software version 4.0, when i am trying to print from the inventory section ( i have print before with no problem) the price tags for the jewelry (the printer is a ZEBRA LP 2824 MODEL NUMBER, http://www.uline.com/Browse_Listing_7100.asp?keywords=zebra. THE PRINTER CONECTS WITH A PARALLEL CABLE) an error window comes up
( CANNOT OPEN FILE"C:/DOCUME~1/IVELIS/LOCALS~1/TEMP/_RTD9813928/FONTSTBL.BIN".THE PROCESS CANNOT ACCESS THE FILE BECAUSE IT IS BEING USED BY ANOTHER PROCESS.)

I remove the point of sale and install it again, i uninstall the drivers from all the printers and i install them again, i try from RUN, msconfig, CTRL+ ALT+DEL and close all the aplications that were running. Everything fail, still the same error window. I call quickbooks suport, i was in the phone for 3 hours with the manager. NOTHING...

    PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes, i use an epson TM-T8111 printer for the sales receipt and a hp printer for prints from the internet and they work fine, only the zebra printer has the problem.

    Thank you for your reply.

    UPDATE!!!

I call the zebra suport ( www.zebra.com) and guess what? They dont know how to fix it, amazing...

As much as I love the zebra printers, they all have bugs and require software to drive them. Im thinking that the driver software is running a multiple instance therefore giving you the error. try unplugging the printer, removing the printer via control panel, remove the driver program from add/remove programs. REboot, cycle through. then try a clean boot, this time reinstalling the drivers first, then reboot, plugging in the zebra printer. GL
