So, I recently installed DeskSpace 3d, which combined with yod'm http://www.otakusoftware.com/deskspace/index.html

It is probably the single most cool software for Windows!

Anyone else use this and how do you guys utilize having different desktops?

I sort of keep a torrent file open in one screen, have outlook open on another, use the other one purely for Internet, etc.

That definitely looks cool, but what kind of resources does it use?

Yeah.. But apart from its flashiness.. I've got no real use for it.

    I don't either, but it's still nice.

what i use it for is to use an internet explorer in one screen...have a pdf open in another..powerpoint presentation in another while studying.outlook in another, etc.

I find pressing alt+1, 2 to switch from screens is more effective than minimizing and maximizing screens within the same window
