Hey all I have been trying to make a cool desktop for a while. I finally found something I want to try which is using rainmeter and enigma 2.0. For some reason I install rainmeter then enigma and enigma never shows up when i right click>config the rainmeter tray icon. If anyone has a good tutorial to follow step by step to make a cool desktop like http://lifehacker.com/5161303/the-stars-memory-desktop I would greatly appreciate it. I know it tells what you need on the site but i need something like a step by step guide. Maybe we should add one here at NBR for all the noobs like me that want to take their computing 1 step further. Please any help would be great.

yea i recall that the self install did not work for me either, so i just installed it myself.

For that, you just drop the enigma folder that comes inside the zip file into your drive>program files>rainmeter>skins folder and install the font ( i think they were already present on my system, but try anyway) and viola. It works. I like the welcome screen they have, very nifty.
