    Desktop icons reset after boot/reboot - Windows 10

    Windows 10 Pro X64

    Latest nvidia / intel HD drivers

    My problem is each time i boot / login to windows the desktop icons change the order/size

    i spent hours trying to fix this problem and couldn't fix it.

    i reinstalled the windows and everything was ok. i made too many reboots after installing each driver and no problem. finished installing drivers and apps, too many boots/reboots done and nothing weired

    until i closed my laptop for 10 minutes after playing assetto corse, booted it again and found the icons rearranged itself and size changed to Medium

    no windows updates installed. "some people say it's an update fault"

    Tried to delete icon cache from C:\Users\Ahmed\AppData\Local but didn't fix

    tried to delete UsrClass.dat from C:\Users\Ahmed\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows and still no fix

    Please help me i don't want to reinstall the windows for a third time
