I tried to merge files into winsxs and I get this dialogue message that says "Destination Folder Access Denied" I disabled UAC, I'm running as the admin since I'm the only one who uses this computer, and this crap comes up. Where do I get permission? lol an admin asking an admin for permission. What is Vista thinking?

    it's thinking,

"I'm going to prevent this guy from screwing up his computer because if I don't he's going to call up Microsoft and scream at some poor low paid tech support person, then post threads all over the internet about how much Vista sucks...better to just deny a user account of any kind, including administrator users, from a folder intended for use only be the system accounts.

It will also ensure that Vista is more secure from some of the more clever hacker tricks that inject nasties into windows by masquerading as adminstrator/system services.
