Did you download?

I had done it even before, they just made the beta final.
-

@plattnum: I don't know, I have been using for a few days already so I lost my benchmark already (FF2).
-
-
i downloaded it twice actually, once for my new laptop and once for my ex laptop.
-
-
Pretty nice, though one thing i dont like; the back doesnt have the drop down anymore which i dont like, but, so far everything else works.
-
The drop down is beside the forward button o.o
-
No, Opera/Konqueror is superior.
-
I am actually going to wait until Firefox updates itself for me. I am lazy that way.
Tim -
No, I was born an Opera fan and that ain't gonna change
-
I definitely downloaded on my desktop here at home. However, I think I am going to stick with Opera as my default at home and work. The speed (for me, with no tweaking) is definitely better in Opera. I am not really concerned with mem usage, but Opera wins in that too. I have always liked FF's nice streamlined UI, and it is extremely customizable...even more than I remember.
-
I did not need too, as i already had RC3

Yes IDloaded it. though I still want to use FF3RC1.
-
Just downloaded it. But my FingerPrint Software doesn't work with it yet. I have to wait till an update for my software comes up. I think I have to find a way to downgrade to the previous version of firefox
-
I didn't, and I won't.
Why?

I was right on my computer at 1PM yesterday on the Mozilla website when it when down till around 2PM when finally they updated their site and got everything up and running! So I got it yesterday.
-
I downloaded it twice last night, one was a japanese version (silly me).
-
-
its a beast
got it as soon as the servers started working -
I downloaded it yesterday, i also updated it with Ubuntu update manager. -
I downloaded it on three computers doing my part for the cause. It's a great browser too!
-
Yar of course I did.
-
Of course!
-
I downloaded it, but I still prefer using Internet Explorer.
-
Adblock+ and NoScript is the reason why I chose FF over IE
-
I am unable to get it... i was travelling that day anyway.
Someone pass me the direct link.
thanks -
Downloaded it yesterday at home and at work.
-
Nope, later. I`m sticking with OPERA for now.
-
great, love it
-
Downloaded... humm 4 times!
1) at work
2) laptop (OS partition)
3) laptop (Win XP partition)
4) wife's laptop
oh, and I love it!
I think that only direct downloads counted towards the record; update manager and ftp didn't (as far as I understand). -

Yes. It seems good. No complaints so far, but I don't use too many add ons for it. One problem I did have was that the first time I downloaded it I got a corrupt file. Tried downloading it a second time and things were fine.

I downloaded it on my parents' laptops and then mine on the 18th, all before the world record deadline.
-
Yup, I downloaded it on Download Day!

I tried on the night it came out like 4 times, but the server was always too busy. I haven't gotten around to checking again since.
-
Yeah, using it right now
I like the new button.
-
Kinda, Im using RC2 Still, I find it more stable then 3.0 RC3 and 3 testing on other computers aswell so im sticking with my RC2
-
I thought RC2 was for windows and RC3 for MAC!
-
I'll get it at some point. I installed Firefox 2 on FF3 release day for testing purposes. But the whole download record thing just seemed too gimmicky, especially since I never had heard what the previous record was. And Opera's 9.5 release the week gave me the fast new web-browseriness this month begged for. I did look over the feature list of FF3, but nothing seemed that compelling, so I figured why not save it for sometime when I'm bored and can't think of anything else to do than try out some tech item?
It's kind of like how it took more than a year of having high-speed Internet before I ever got XP SP2, only it's a reversible change so it'll probably happen sooner than that. -
Did they break the record?

did they add a scroll bar to bookmarks drop down yet? thats one of the things i hate about FF2 the most.
-
-
...lol...still using V 1.0.7...never cared too much for the later versions...but then again i use opera for most of my browsing...yeah...older version too...9.0.2...maybe it's just me...but it seems with every upgrade...browser versions just get more bloated with features useless to me...
-
Downloaded, installed, tried it, hated it. It messed up IE7. Some functions of IE7 stopped working such as links wouldn't open in a new window. MSNBC video wouldn't load. Some sites the password submit icon won't work. It's a bit faster but if it can't do the hype then it's basically useless.
-
i am testing Firefox 3 during these days. this new version tends to display websites slightly different from Firefox 2. That's because it is using the most recent html version. For instance I had to reduce the font size in my blog. apart from this i love its new features. i didnt see a lot of difference in its load time. it looks like it is less cpu hungry. the overall effect is good anyway
