    Hey guys,

Pretty self-explanatory. I just want to know the difference between using the Backup and Restore Center on Vista Home Premium, and Copy/Pasting my User folder (and personal files) to my external hard-drive.

I noticed that the Vista Back Up gives the option to choose particular files for backup (like Pictures, Music, Videos, E-Mail, Documents, etc.) which are mostly User files as well.

However, I've read on other forums that many people have experienced problems with the Vista Back Up utility (freezing, incomplete backup, etc.) so I'm having second thoughts on using it, and might as well resort to Copy/Pasting my User folders. Is there any truth to this?

    Thanks...

Nope. If there are issues, it is probably some other apps or hardware related problems that would give you heartburn :D

    cheers ...
