I have a question regarding prices for what seems to be different boxing for software, or I just have no idea what the difference between the Xp Pros are.

I went searching on Amazon for XP Pro at this link http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/102-7867628-4594513
There are so many different boxes for XP PRO. I'm not looking for the upgrade just the regular edition. What is the difference between the boxes, some are cheeper than others and they are the same program.

This looks like the cheepest one, but I'm wondering why its the cheapest?

It is $140 cheeper than the other XP pro edition and I have no idea why.

Any advice here on which to get? I dont know why some boxes are more expensive than others. Thanks for any help.

I don't see the 1st link you provided, but maybe its because the standalone WinXP Pro w/ SP2 have some that are used, while others are new?

    Amazon confuses me...

First one is being sold by a person not a store.

Second is from a store itself

The cheaper one is probaboy an OEM copy like it is sold to a computer manufacturer. This means you'll get support from the seller meaning probably not much.

if you take the oem-version, you don't get any support from m$ because you save money. therefore the seller must assist you (90 days?). nevertheless i would take the oem ...
