I just installed Digsby and is a fantastic multi-messenger and social networking client, but the problem is that it puts my 3d card into the highest clocks and my laptop has to crank up the system fan and I'm sitting here hearing this think cranking away and its really annoying. Even when the program is minimized into the bottom right it still keeps me in 3d mode. Does anyone know how to make a program not ramp up your clocks?

Are you sure it isn't all that bloatware that comes with Digsby. -_-
That will definitely get your fans revving.

yeah, make sure you went through the installer carefully, you could have agreed to install some adware that comes bundled with the installer.

Might have something to do with this (under the Research Module section), although it is only supposed to happen after 5 mins of mouse and KB inactivity...
