    Hey guys,

So I recently reformatted my notebook and re-enrolled my fingerprints on the Fingerprint Reader Suite (by UPEK).

What's weird is that on the Vista Welcome Screen, as well as the "Locked" screen; there are always two icons. One icon is my user name with my profile picture; while the other is the fingerprint reader icon that says "Fingerprint Logon. Please swipe your finger."

I remember that when I used the fingerprint reader before, I was able to consistently have my Welcome Screen show only one big picture; my user account name; with the manual password entry below. I used to be able to automatically swipe my fingerprint without having two icons in the Welcome/Lock Screens.

I'm not sure how I did it before and don't remember. Can anyone refresh me on how I can remove the Fingerprint Reader Icon on the Welcome Screen?

I'd really appreciate it because I want my Username Profile Icon to be bigger, and need the password bar to be readily available...

    Thanks!

Try looking in the Suite options... Or maybe in the user log on settings. i can't remember(I don't feel like installing it now) but I remember as well having only one icon at logon.
