    Hello,

Anyone know how to disable or remove Vista Media Center? I have a media center PC set up and the remote not only effects it but my laptop which is annoying!

    Thanks!

Not sure, but you could probably go to Device Manager and disable your infrared receiver there.

Type services.msc in the Run command.
Disable all processes related to it.

Then type msconfig in the Run command.
Look under the services and startup tab and uncheck anything related to it again.
