I'm cross posting this also in the Unoffical Averatech Forums. Sorry if it's in the wrong forums.

    First time here, Hi all!

Anyway, I have a 6110 that I got not to long ago. I just have it for fun simply because it was cheap ($899 brand new).

I haven't used a notebook for a while, and the last one I used was an HP. It had a feature where you could disable the touchpad so you don't accidentally hit it with your palms or whatever with a push of a button. With the 6110, I keep hitting the touchpad and messes things up when I type. I tried using the Synaptics (?) Touchpad drivers, but it doesn't work well for me. Scrolling functions wouldn't work right, among other things, so I removed the drivers.

Does anyone know if there is some program or anything that can make a simple hotkey to turn the touchpad on and off like the HP button? Thanks all!

    Synaptics (?) Touchpad
maybe in the task bar software I know there is a macro function, maybe SOMEHOW you could direct one side of the touch pad to disable and one to enable.
