Hi,
I've set my screen to turn off after 1 minute of inactivity to maximize battery.
When my screen turns on again, it always asks for the password/login.
In screensaver settings I have not ticked "On resume, display logon screen". I only want it to ask me for a password if the computer has gone to sleep/standby.
What setting do I need to change to fix this?
Thanks
(I'm on Windows 8.1)

Thanks for that- is says it's not for desktops or laptops.
Is there a work around or other solution? Thx -
Why not try it, you got nothing to loose and besides, I have yet to encounter major differences in functionality between desktp, laptop and tablet on Windows 8.1 aside from the user input method.

Those are the only two I could find where there might be an obscure setting since 8.x tries to provide extra security to those that would otherwise reduce it too easily.Last edited: Apr 25, 2015
