    I'm running WIN7PRO32

occasionally when I try to use the scroll bar at the bottom I overshoot and hit the tabs, and bang, up pops a preview of the windows that are active in that tab.

is there any way to disable this?

Yes, using 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. Works on Windows 7, 8, and 10
