This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just installed my home premium 64bit upgrade of windows 7, I activated it and everything.

    When I try to press the button to take the windows 7 disc out, my drive doesn't open.

    I need to get it open so I can install the drivers that came with the computer....

    please help, it sounds like the cd is spinning also.......

    (I know my disc drive isn't broken because I used it to but the cd in....)
