    I have Windows 7 32 bit on my Asus G60VX.
    Now, as soon as I stop using my laptop, like, after one minute the display turns off. This annoys me because when I'm debugging stuff or downloading I need the display on to see what's going on. My power settings are set to never turn off the display, never sleep, and never hybernate. In advanced options every power saving option is turned off or set to max performance. I don't know what else to do. I can't keep the screen from turning off! HELP!
    Thanks!

    Try this;

    Control Panel --> Display --> Personalization - Screensaver. Disable the screensaver by setting it to none...and remove the check for 'on resume..'

    OP if you are running one of the Power-4-Gear plans, try removing the power-4-gear application and using one of the standard windows power plans.

    Does this happen with an external display as well? If not, then check out your cable connecting the LCD to the board or looking into replacing the inverter

    cheers ...
