Display problems

Hi here. I'm having a couple of issues with my Asus G1S. It uses a GeForce 8600m GPU and it's running vista home premium.

At the moment I cannot save any display settings. For example, if I change the second display so that it is located to the left of my main screen, the settings will reset when I reboot. I am using drivers 185.85 downloaded from the nvidia website.

Also, when I reboot, at the login screen the resolution of my primary screen is different, and then after a few seconds it changes. Then, after logging in, the icons have shifted place and are located in the middle of the screen.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

I use 185.85 DOX, (have tried "official" 185.85 too). I didin't have any problems. There is also a new driver available now, maybe you should try it or re-install 185.85.
Never had/heard a problem like this before...

I've tried a few other nvidia drivers but they all have problems, although they are slightly different
I tried getting a 17# series driver, since they worked before, but i can't find one with the modded INF =/ Do you know where I could get one?
