As I've just installed some new programs as well as updated others -- I was unchecking programs to be automatically run at start up.
I was wondering if I needed the program DeleteLog c:\windows\system32\oobe\Deletelog.exe to run everytime I start my laptop.
I know that oobe is MS's "Out Of Box Expereince" program - and I understand that it makes the computer act like it just came out of the box.
But do I need the deletelog to run every time I start the laptop -now that the laptop has been out of the box for 3 years? (I just did a recover of the disk to solve a problem so that maybe why it is still running.)
In fact I was wondering which items I have left checked I need to have running at start up. My laptop for this one is an HP dv1000. I owuld like to keep programs runing to the minimum.
I can't figure out how to transfer a screenshot to the message body here (control v doesn't seem to work) so I attached 2 jpeg files with two screenshots showing all the programs I have left checked -- in addition to the DeleteLog program.

When in doubt you can always punch in the file name into google and more often than not you will see if you need it or not...or feel free to ask here of course.
