IT WILL NOT ALLOW ANYTHING LARGER than 40mb to download anything larger just stops at 40.. just a warning. i updated all my machine and now this really sucks
-
I generally never update to beta software. I'm rarely in the business to test people's software after a day of doing just that at work.
-
MANY people here are on the dev branch so i wanted them to know..

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Large files do not download completely - bug 406
Linux:
Cannot be set as the default browser in GNOME (Already fixed by [r26314, r26316]). -
Why would it stop downloading after 40 MB? It's probably nothing wrong with the beta software.
-
Just a question, why would you download a huge file using build-in downloader from the browser? The newest dev build for me can't even allow me to type the url address. Everytime I try it the url bar will go black and chrome will crash.
-
this version has now been pulled sucks big time for those who got nailed with it as a update though.. time to reinstall and go back a older one
-
ah, that's why it is called a 'dev build'. Generally, if you are not formally involved in the testing/reporting/code-mongering, using the dev builds isn't a good idea.
-
They will release a fix later this day I bet.
