I have no other choice and need to wipe the hard drives of my 2 semi working computers using drive scrubber. I had 4 of the same model Gateway computers but I only have 2 sets of recovery CDs.

Is there any way to actually look on the recovery CDs and find out to which computer they belong to?

    Thank you.

Exact same models of computer? The recovery discs shouldn't be locked to a particular computer, you should be able to use the same set of discs for all of your comps. Activate Windows using the license on the stickers of each computer.

    Tijo,

You were correct. One set worked for both computers. Thanks,
