Hi! I ordered a new laptop with Vista Home Premium, and I'm wondering if the following apps will run ok on it.

I already checked the helpful post *Vista Supported Software. But I still have questions.

1- Outlook 2003 (the post says "Initial setup loops continiously", is there any way to solve this?).

2- Access XP (the post says Office XP should run fine, does that include Access as well, or just Word-Excel-PowerPoint-Outlook?).

3- Dreamweaver MX 6.1 (the post says MX2004 and v8 will run ok, but nothing about 6.0 or 6.1).

4- IIS (I've heard there's a way to install a limited version, I only need it to edit/test ASP pages that query Access databases).

5- Remote Desktop Connection (I know it doesn't come included in Vista Premium, but I've heard there's a workaround to this, is it true and does it work?).

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

1 - Yes, look here. Here too.

2 - I'm not sure but it should.

3 - I'm not sure but it should.

4 - Not sure on at all.

5 - I think vista has it but you can also use VNC, if you need VNC help you can find the proper tools in my Best free software thread and i can help you from there.

That thread is pretty old so i wouldn't base everything on it.
