No. I don't even have desktop icons, I keep what I need/use often pinned to the taskbar, and stuff that isn't used much pinned to the start menu.

I agree with hakira, us G73 guys stick together. I feel it is just another program that can go wrong and make trouble shooting more difficult.
Looks a lot to me like OS X

IS there a reason I can not see the others who chose the second option in the poll? I am nosy and other polls allow me to click the number of voters and see who voted.

Dexpot. I like my desktops as clean as possible. Minimal gadgets and no docks/launchpads.

This pretty much but I also use mini docks that's in my rainmeter. There's no point to docks though as long as the taskbar exists.

Same as cassar here. W7 taskbar I find pretty high functional.

I did when I had Vista on my old laptop as I hated all the icons all over the desktop. Since programs/etc. can be pinned to the taskbar with Windows 7, I just do that.

I use the Windows 7 task bar as my dock.

A nice, clean desktop is how I like it :)

The taskbar in windows 7 works pretty much the same way as a dock does, except it doesn't zoom :)p)

Don't like having extra programs running all the time, if I can avoid it anyway.

I like a clean desktop too (the only icon on my desktop is the Computer icon for quick access to Computer Management, et al). For other programs, I pin my most used onto the taskbar.

Not using anything like a dock. Only thing i use as ''enhancement'' is minibin (recycle bin in tray).

With Windows 7, the taskbar is basically the dock. Previous to Windows 7 I didn't use a dock because they were a bit clunky.

    +1000

people should use windows built in functionality instead of getting tools that provide the same, just in another way.

a clean desktop == apps pinned to taskbar, nothing on desktop, done.

why should i have two taskbars? especially different looking ones? not really a usability gain.

on vista, i used pin to startmenu to get rid of desktop shortcuts. i just pressed the win key and had all my apps accessible both trough keyboard, or with the mouse.

now, of course (see post above), pin to taskbar.
