(I have not found anybody that posted doing this kind of tweak to thier softwares.)

Ummmmm I don't know if any person in this forums do this but...

If you want to speed up defragmenting time using "JkDefrag" or any defragmenting software including the one that arranges your boot files by "ScuderiaConchiglia" Also Applicable to "Windows Registry Repair"
(Actually this is applicable to applications that are set on idle or normal priorites)

You can go to task manager
    click on the processes tab
Go find "JkDefrag.exe"(for JkDeafrg, for the other change it to thier respective processes)
Right CLick on it, CLick "Set Priority"
    Change it to "Realtime"

The programs will now use more of your computer resources, making it faster(though they still won't slow down your PC)

I don't think that this will do any harm to your PC(Please tell me if I am doing something that hurts my PC)

( I was kinda nervous if all people do it but I decided to post it since there is no harm in trying just want to know if this helps some people)

thats in most cases not a good idea, since it can happen that the program running in realtime can slow down other programs, or even the os.

if the program you are setting to realtime is doing very complex computations (e.g. like rendering), you can end up with the os not responding.

I really don't use it for other programs just for defragmenting.

Guess I will not try to use it for other programs

Uh, no. Defragmentation speed is pretty much limited by your HD, raising the defraggers priority shouldn't make any difference unless you're running other applications causing heavy disk access at the same time (and why would you do that?).
Even in that case, using realtime priority is not a good idea, as this can interrupt system threads (keyboard/mouse input, cache flushing,...).

This is not a not a good idea. It will eventually slow down other applications.
