Just wondering if you need Intel Rapid Storage Drivers if you have an SSD/HDD combo. Im not even really sure what it does. I think it just improves access times on regular spin type HDD's right? If i have a SSD in my laptop as the main HDD with a 1tb for data storage do i even need to install it? I think i read somewhere that it can actually wear out SSDs faster with the way it works
THis is on win 10 btw, dont know if that makes a difference. So whats it do and should i install it or not?

only if you're using a RAID config.

Whats it actually do though? Im not using RAID. Would it help the regular HDD at all?

You don't need it for RAID, it's just Intel's driver for the SATA or M.2 or mSATA port.
