    Does Anyone Else have this ocassional problem

    When you turn on/reboot your computer and it shows the Welcome Screen to XP and just hangs there, then you have to reboot and then it works fine. anyone else experience this and if so any cure to this problem as to why it does this.? doesnt happen often jus rarely i'd say.

    I don't have the exact answer, but in my opinion, I would get rid of GUI boot. Try this out and see if it helps, it also usually shaves off 2-4 seconds from a bootup

    Start>Run>msconfig>(I think its)Startup?>Then tick "NOGUIBOOT"

    Save and then close, and restart.

    i dont have that option for noguiboot but i only have nod32 and synoptics checkmarked for startup applications :p
