I noticed I played Jurassic Park Builder on Facebook and when I do the screen flashes and doesn't show everything correctly using Edge or Internet Explorer. When I use Windows 7 I have no problems like this so I rolled back to Windows 7 Pro again on my notebook. I can anytime go back to Windows 10 Pro but want to know if there was a way to fix this problem. Thank you

    Specs of my notebook

    HP ProBook 6550b

    Intel i5-460m 2.8gHz

4GB DDR3 ram will upgrade to 8GB soon

    320GB HDD 7200 RPM

Intel GMA HD or Intel HD graphics

    Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Basically the screen flashes in the game area only and looks weird like black parts and also things don't appear normal like items look like black squares or have a different look than what it's suppose to like for example if normal a moving item has a timer mark where I add more min to get more meat or so it shows a part of a building instead. It's hard to explain. Just wondered if Windows 10 has problems still with things.

Did you try another browser or just IE and Edge?

No I haven't only Edge or Internet Explorer. But in the past on other computer that had Windows 10 installed Edge had problems but Internet explorer always worked fine. I thought it was strange that both didn't work and did the same exact thing so I assumed it was Windows 10 having problems. I can say Windows 10 does detect drivers and install them so I trust that and I had all Windows updates downloaded so I was up to date. I can say WoW, StarCraft 2, Guild Wars 2, etc works normal like Windows 7 did but just Jurassic Park Builder in Facebook and I play that game a lot also and it drives me crazy to see weird colors and flashing areas and black square boxes around the dinosaurs, etc. So I downgrade to Windows 7 again and every thing is back to normal. But I know someday I will need to get Windows 10 since Windows 7 is outdated now right?

Try installing Adobe Flash manually, I suspect it hasn't been transferred to Win 10 when you upgraded.
Use Internet Explorer after installing Flash, alternatively use Google Chrome as it has Flash built in.

Well I remember on Windows 10 windows updates do install flash so I can't go to adobe.com and get it since it says windows 10 already installs the latest version. I started to wonder if it's my video driver? Does Microsoft use the right best drivers for Windows 10? I know that on Intel site or HP they show older ones that was made for Window 7 but seems like Microsoft uses a different version that I never seen in my past experience not from Intel or the company that made the computer.

This is the latest version that Intel has for my video card and it's for Windows 7.

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/do...dows-7-64-Windows-Vista-64-exe-?product=97497

Should I install that driver from Intel when I upgrade to Windows 10 again? Or should I just reinstall HP video driver from HP for the model notebook I have that is also made for Windows 7?

Here is the latest version from HP? I' am currently using this one but Windows 10 did change it and put a different version but when I rolled back it put the HP video drivers back.

I can reinstall this HP video driver again after installing Windows 10 or install Intel's latest driver.

Just fired up my Latitude E5510 (same generation and similar hardware as your ProBook) and tried some Flash games in different browsers... no problem on Edge, no problem on IE, no problem on Opera, no problem on Chrome. I'm using Windows 10 though. Still your problem is really strange...

I'm using the latest graphics driver which was automatically installed when I installed Win 10, not the Windows 7 driver.

Hmm very strange. But I can say on Windows 7 I have no problem at all running Jurassic Park Builder only on Windows 10. Have you tried playing Jurassic Park Builder on Facebook on Windows 10 on that notebook? Thank you

Can you please try to just test and see if Jurassic Park Builder on Facebook has problems with Windows 10? I would truly appreciate it. Thank you

Tried the game on the four browsers that I have, Edge and IE give the same problem as yours, Opera and Chrome has no problem at all but rather sluggish.
So yeah, Edge and IE are the problems.

Oh ok so it's not the video drivers. I thought it was but why does Edge and IE have problems? Also strange thing is that my moms desktop PC doesn't have this problem even it's a older AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2gHz and has a GeForce 210 1GB video card. Although she has 8GB ram but I don't think that is the problem. She has Windows 10 on her's also. That's why I thought maybe the Microsoft video drivers don't work well? just assuming though. I got the latest drivers for her old video card from Nvidia.com

I known the game is sluggish but on my moms it runs a lot smoother and doesn't have these problems.

    From my reply:
I've stated the game is quite sluggish in Opera and Chrome. Well it's an Intel GMA stuff (only this time it's integrated into CPU) so don't expect stunning graphics on it. And honestly your mom's desktop is twice as powerful and has a better graphics, even if it's just a GeForce 210.

I use to have a HP Stream 11 2016 version notebook PC that had Windows 10 and was a cheap $200 one and that one played on IE fine just sluggish but Edge didn't even run the game at all it was black screen forever.

Could ram be the problem also? Since both my HP and other HP had ether 2GB or 4GB not 8GB like my moms? This one can go up to 8GB and I can get it for around $40 if that will help in general overall in all my games like WoW, StarCraft 2, etc?

I just thought maybe adding more ram would help so anything can perform at it's best as possible? If it's not the video driver that is.

More memory will improve very little graphical performance, if at all. My E5510 has 8GB RAM and it still struggled.

If you decide to up the memory of your ProBook to 8GB, remember to buy those with 8 chips on each side, those with 4 chips on each side will NOT work. It's the limitation of CPU and chipset.

Actually one of my 2GB rams has 4 chips and other has 8 chips and works fine but was that bad it has this?

No, the 8 chips thing only applies to 4GB module. For 2GB modules, 4 chips or 8 chips are fine, in fact my E5510 was running with an 8-chip 2GB and a 4-chip 2GB, before I upgraded it to 8GB.

Oh I didn't know that at all I thought if 4 chips work then any will work. So when you have 4GB or more than need 8 chip. Come to think of it I remember something I use to own a Sony VAIO that had a Intel i3-370m 2.4gHz and I remember it originally came with 4GB so two 2GB and then when I upgrade that one to 8GB it didn't work and I didn't understand why and found out that since they only had 4 chip on each 4GB. I thought it was just Sony and others will work but is it possible that all Intel processors type needs 8 chip when having 4GB or more?

Well good thing you told me this since I could of had a chance to get a 4 chip and said it didn't work and had to say it's defective and returned it to the online store or locally retail.

Just the Penryn (last-gen Core 2 Duo, some models use DDR3) and Westmere (first-gen i3/i5/i7) generations require 8-chip 4GB DDR3 module, starting from Sandy Bridge you can use 4-chip 4GB modules.

Does it matter if I use DDR3L or DDR3? Or does it have to be only DDR3? Meaning 1.5V only? I known some montherboards work on both so wanted to ask if my HP that has Intel i5-460m will work on any type of ram that has 8 chip? Thank you

The model number and specs of my HP is on my sig.

Either DDR3 and DDR3L modules are fine, with DDR3L they'll simply raise their voltage to work in older laptops.

Actually DDR3L is lower voltage it's only 1.35v instead of 1.5v. I heard people said that you need one that matches your motherboard or you would mess it up but some do accept both.
