OK, well I got myself a Kensington Orbit Trackball, but it only has right and left click. Is there any program out there which can be used to emulate middle click by pressing left and right click at the same time?
The program exists for Ubuntu (emulate3buttons), but google shows nothing else![]()
Thanks in advance![]()

Found at least one: Cool Mouse; it's not freeware, however.
EDIT: Also found a freeware app: Third Button Emulator 1.0; don't have any idea if it's legit, still maintained, or even functional. I'm sure I don't have to remind you, but it still bears repeating, try these things at your own risk. -
Cool Mouse doesn't actually have the function I'm looking for, I tried the trial but its a tool that allows you to assign different features to the middle mouse button, not emulate it through pressing L&R mouse buttons
Not too sure about 3rd Button Emulator though, there are no reviews of it, nothing.
Thanks Shyster -
mouseware?

Not 64 bit compatible.
And I have Logitech SetPoint but it doesn't have the option I am looking for.
Surly a program exists, seeing as many notebooks only have two buttons and no middle click.
Thanks so far guys. -
I'm not aware of any, but a simple system hook should be all it needs.

It's hard to believe a program doesn't exist though. I can't be the only one wanting to simulate middle click when L&R are pressed simultaneously
Thanks anyway, I think it will be an endless search.
Does a program for this exist for Windows
