I'm trying to record whatever audio output the browser sends out (ei. Firefox or IE) and I don't know any programs/plugins that lets me do that. Anyone know any good free programs to record audio?

    OS: Windows 7

Must be something on your end, it works for me. At any rate, here's the link in all of its unparsed glory:

You can try Replay AV to capture everything that is being played on Internet.

RealPlayer has a "Download this Video" link that allows you to download and record any audio or video from the internet. Some people poo-poo RealPlayer, but it is the only media app that I know of that has this feature.

Well, I'm not sure what RealPlayer problem you're referring to, 'cause I can activate my "Download this Video" link and download pretty much any audio or video played on the computer. Of course none of the apps that I'm aware of can download an audio or video that's licensed -- that's a different story -- but at least the RealPlayer 'Download this Video' link offers something that most other apps don't, and fully (or mostly) gives the poster what he is looking for.

PS, spradhan01, thanks for suggesting Replay AV. I'm looking forward to trying that too.

There are some websites which doesnot allow their stuff to be recorded so Real Player dont work at that time. So to record 100% stuff on Internet, I was suggesting Replay AV. If you just wanna record youtube and other tubes then its free and fine.

It would help to know what website, so we can determine the format of the audio.
