    Does anyone use the windows sidebar for gpu-z, hwmonitor, cpuid-like programs

    i tried looking for stuff like this soon after vista came out, and i gave up because there was absolutely nothing

    There is no gadget that can do this on it's own. You need a program like everest of HW monitor running in the background and the gadget is displaying the info reported by the program.

    I stopped using them because I do not want to run a monitoring program in the background all the time. I am using margu-NotebookInfo2 but no gadget to display temperature.
