This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have no experience with Samsung notebooks. However, it appears that that BIOS update is simply that, a BIOS update. There would be more clear language indicating that this download will update the firmware of your SSD if that were the case. Perhaps you could check Samsung's support resources for downloads for your specific model SSD. They would probably post a specific and well-labeled update somewhere for your SSD firmware if available.
