Has anyone ,managed to successfully downgrade from Vista to XP on this machine ?
If so can you supply a posotive web link where to find the right drivers,so all devices in the device driver section are activated & don't have any exclamation marks present.
I know there is a thread on HP's website & its not very instructive,it seems a bit hit & miss.
If you get it right ,you get it right !
I managed a couple of tries,but always ended up without a network controller &
some device called unibrian pc 1394 missing !!
Amongst other devices not working - no sound .

A bit hit&miss is probably what XP-inclined users get on any machines that come equipped with Vista stock.
Your best bet is to list out the devices, whilst you still have your Vista environment, then searching for XP supported drivers from devices manufacturers direct, before tackling the changeover from Vista to XP.
Another tip, is to browse the Linux forums for devices relating to your comp model, to pick up any hints from the devices, then use it to search for the related XP drivers.
