    Downgrading Vista to XP

    Hey all,

    Recently purchased a Dell Vostro 1500 with Vista Business. Hated Vista. Asked for a downgrade to XP from, dell just got the discs. I got these:

    830-17205 Power DVD 7.0 - Vista 1
    830-17659 Resource DVD 1500 1
    830-17678 MS WXP Logo Label Mod (Insp) 1
    830-14970 English - Win XP SP2 Pro (Backup Media) 1
    830-15282 LBL,COA,WXPP,V#2004 1
    830-10066 INFO,COMPLAINT ORDER

    Basically...what do I do now lmao?

    I have a desktop so I can format the laptop while im still asking for help on here. Good riddance Vista!

    If they have sent you a Windows XP Pro installation disk [ English - Win XP SP2 Pro (Backup Media) ] and the Serial Number [ LBL,COA,WXPP,V#2004 1], then simply boot with the XP CD, format the disk and install XP.

    If you want to keep Media Direct feature, then you will have to prepare the disk with Media Direct installation disk > Boot and make the required partitions with it.

    Remember to backup all your important data.
