I just got my Dell Inspiron 1420 a month and a half ago. And its great just for one small detail. Windows Vista sucks. I tried to downgrade to XP Pro but it gave me this:

Set up did not find any hard disk drive installed in your computer.

Make sure any hard disk drivers are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuation is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or set up program

Setup cannot continue. To quit setup, press F3.

I've read up on other forums but they all confused me can someone shed some light on me?

    Thanks
