    Downgrading to Xp from Vista

    Hi friends,
    I have a Hp Pavilion 6548ea laptop with Vista installed.I want to install a fresh copy of Xp.When I tried doing that the hard drive was not recognised.I dont have any sata disable option in my BIOS.If any one can pls help send the response please. :)

    since it is likely a sata drive, you need to press F6 key during boot and load the floppy with the sata drivers
