    possibly in standard WMV format or .avi.

    .dream is a no no as i run it with VLC instead of Dreamscene.

    Its much less laggy and smoother & lighter too.

    Thx for the link. The Landscape is kinda jerky (i.e. the transition is very noticeable). Do you notice that as well?

    I believe DreamScene is for Vista Ultimate, other than that DeskScape is option for you... but then if you hack the system to accept DreamScene....

    Ohhhhhhhh HP as Home premium, I thought it was the brand.

    That's why I am wondering a brand that can't do dreamscenes...

    Actually vista hp can do that.. You can use vlc to get that since vlc is so light on the memory.. google for more info..
