DreamScene should be available from the Windows Update page as an Ultimate Extra. Download the first one, select it to activate DreamScene, and then you'll be able to download and use other ones.

.dream files are meant to be used with StarDock's DeskScapes program, a separate tool that can be used on non-Ultimate versions of Vista as well as XP.

If you don't have Ultimate or even if you do there is a better way.

Go to Stardock.com and download Dreamscapes.

Dreamscapes uses the .dream files and their site has hundereds of .dream files for free.

Their program works on any version of Vista and works great.

BTW, can I get the links to download the files for dreamscene? I have Vista Ultimate so I would prefer to use the inbuilt one.

I haven't tried the .dream files from Stardock with the program that comes with Ultimate but I suspect they might work.

I've noticed each .dream file consumes different ammounts of system resources so you might want to keep that in mind.

    Have fun.

The other DreamScene videos will become available as Windows Ultimate Extras downloads through Windows Update once you've activated DreamScene by making the first available video your background.
