I have a bit of a problem, which only appeared after the fresh install of vista ultimate. it's a minor problem, but annoying nevertheless.
on startup dreamscene loads and everything (i get no error messages) but the video in the backround is still. so i have right-click on my desktop and tell dreamscene to start playing the video (4th option from the bottom). is there a way to bypass this clicking, i want my video to play without me intervening.

i dont use dreamscene...... so this is guess work...... try msconfig>>services and uncheck the dreamscene option. if u cant find it in seRvices try startup tab.........re enable it after a starup and see how things are going

Strange! Mine doesn't do that........ although I'm using the hacked version anyway on Vista Business.
Mine just plays automatically when I restart, unless I was running the laptopon battery power.
R u running the laptop on battery power by any chance? Make sure y have set your laptop to HIGH PERFORMANCE mode in the power options -
how do you gte the hacked one to work ? i downloaded it and right clicked on the at file and ran as administrator and restarted but its not there in the personalization bit ? -
LOL, running that batch file won't do the trick bro. U have to manually do the hack. It worked on every single system I applied it on. and many users here were lucky to read my hack. But it was deleted by a moderator since it is apparently against the forum rules.
Too bad I can't help you with this. -
