    I have a Gateway P-6860 and am looking for good FREE software to encrypt my entire hard drive. Here's the catch, i DO NOT want pre boot authentication. I've tried TrueCrypt but to encrypt entire hard drive you have to use pre boot authentication. =[ Anyone know of good, free software to do what im looking for?

    How could you encrypt a hard drive but not have preboot authentication? It wouldnt make sense to have it then.
