It can create a backup of your drivers in a nice little package. And it can also scan the Internet for updated drivers. But I'm a little weary of entrusting this thing with that task.

 

trust me... its not spyware...
it just adds a registry entry so that the software is registered upon install
the activation software makes no changes to your computer that are characteristic of spyware
giveawayoftheday.com is also a very well known site and they have been recommended by sites like yahoo (they actually make deals with the developers)

A question to OP,
this software has a function to check all drivers in your computer, and notifies you any updates,
would you trust it?
is it safe to update drivers from this software?

its just a good alternative to going to each manufacturer's site and getting the updates that way

but when i asked it to search for driver updates, it turned out some drivers that i haven't seen or installed before. what should i do with those?

there are 2 drivers that i haven't seen before
1. Logitech Setpoint Driver
2. Intel INF Update Utility

 

1. do you have a logitech mouse? 'cause thats what setpoint is for...
2. This is a chipset inf update... It should be fine to install

I just started using it. A good program, but not without its flaws.

I mean it's a good program for those who don't know how to navigate their manufacturer's website or are too damn lazy to look up a driver themselves.

 

Yes, if I loved the Magician's Guild Trilogy, Twilight, and Rebel Angels what other books would you recommend? I love any type of fiction mostly SCI FI and fantasy about magic, vamps, and werewolves. I am always looking for new books to read. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I also loved the books wicked lovely, tithe, tantalize, and ranger's apprentice.

I don't think you guys were getting the real point of this software. Its to backup your drivers so that if you reinstall you will not have to download them again.

Or if you go to someone's house to fix their computer you can back them up instead of searching for drivers that you may never find.
