    Driver question

    If I do vista automatic update and it finds drivers for my GPU (Nvidia), and I install them, will they override my current laptoptogo drivers even if they are inferior to my current ones?

    most drivers updates would just write over the current installed version. u'd be lucky if they ask if u want to replace a newer file with an old file (date wise). So smart to tell you that ur current is better than the to.be.installed = so lucky we r not. U learn the outcome the hard way, most (all) of the time

    Yes. It just checks for a higher version available than what's installed, and it will probably remove a lot of the "desktop" type options in the control panels and revert them to something more similar to what you got with your laptop to start with. I'd just go get updated drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com if you want to upgrade your drivers.
