The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Thanks for the info.

    Cheers

    Update

I have tried this and it's good :) I even referred some friends to this, and got the size increase immediately.

File synchronization is quick and neat. Access to the website is also great to see the shared documents, folders, etc.

Program can be run when needed or can be run at startup too...

Over all, I think it's "pretty awesome" as Justin mentioned to me.. ;)

I would recommend this very much.

    Cheers.

PS., Just like justin, if anyone is interested, please let me know by PM :) and we could share some increased space for our dropbox. :) Cheers

So? Microsoft has offered SkyDrive for a while now, which includes Windows Live Mesh. SkyDrive offers 25 gigs of storage, of which you can sync up to 5GB. All of that for free. Plus, if you use SkyDrive Explorer
you get to see your SkyDrive files neatly integrated into Windows Explorer.

So, why would I be interested in DropBox?

Some friends of mine use DropBox, so I do too. :p

DB seems to let you have files up to 350MB, and SkyDrive 'only' up to 50MB.

Does SkyDrive let you restore older versions of files like DB? (up to 30 day history for DB)
