I need some help getting Dual boot to work on my T61p

I used this Dual Boot guide: http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp

I finished the guide completely and was able to get it to work.

Here is what I did step by step:

    1) After reinstalling the drivers for Vista to boot up I booted vista up and everything worked perfect.

    2) Next I rebooted and booted into XP everything worked perfect.

    3) I rebooted and went into Vista .. this time chkdsk attempted to run .. but I quickly cancelled it and Vista booted and worked fine.

    4) This is where it went bad ... I decided to reboot Vista and let chkdsk run .. it ran and found several errors ( startup errors I am assuming ) corrected them and boot Vista perfectly.

    5) Rebooted and tried to go into XP when I got the following message.

Windows Boot Manager has experienced a problem.
    File: \windows\system32\winload.exe
    Status: 0xc000000f
Info: The selected entry couldn't be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

    6) I then downloaded and copied these 2 files into the C:\ directory and rebooted and tried XP again .. this time this was the message that I recieved.

The 2 files were: NTDETECT and ntldr

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

    \system32\ntoskrnl.exe.

Please re-install a copy of the above file"

And this is where I am at currently.

Oh .... and after I installed the 2 files it did something and I couldn't boot into Vista ... so I ended up using the install disk to do a system restore to get it running again.

    Can someone please help ?

    Thanks in advance !
