forgive me for not using search function. I am using dial-up, which is very slow.

Just want to ask a question. I am planning to buy HP Pavilion HDX9000 (yes, if it has BD drive and nVIDIA card). It includes Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I am licensed to vista ultimate now, so I am planning to dual-boot 32 bit and 64 bit. Is this possible. (I heard about compatibility issue on 64 bit, so I would want to keep 32 bit)

It will be my first expeience with 32bit :p

I have had no problems with x64 but I do have a good 10fps drop in games on average vs XP (my current dual boot) and have one game that wont work so well with x64 so I want to see if x86 has the same performance issues and if there really is any benfit to x86 vs x64.

You have 2 copies of ultimate? It seems so. :) It is possible to dual boot the 32bit and the 64bit OS.

Im doing a triple boot on the c90 actually. Windows XP/Vista x86/Vista x64

Then running a whole crap load of benchmarks to determin the performance diffrences.

I have 2 copies of vista aswell, but I am pretty sure you can do it with just one since they are on the same machine when you go to register it will think your just doing a new install on the same machine it wont look like your trying to isntall it on 2 machienes at once.

no, actually, the 64 bit comes pre-installed. I have one license which I want to transfer to my new laptop. ViciousXUSMC, I love your picture (that picture - cat's expression)
