    Hi,

I am dual booting and was wondering if there is a way to switch between the two without needing to do a restart?

    Thanks :D

Nope. That's why it's called "dual-booting". There's no way to give two OSs access to the same hardware at the same time. The only thing you can do is use a VM application of some sort.

If you want to be able to do that you could always use a virtual machine. Just make sure that your processor supports virtual mode. Hell, with a virtual machine you can use to OS's at the same time.

VM. I have XP, Ubuntu, and OS X on VM and all run fine. My main OS is Win 7 Ult. VMWare is what you are looking for. Or, MS has one also that is free.

yes, scrap your multi-boot and use virtual machines instead. VirtualBox is your friend.
