I've looked around and can't find the answer to this question. I'm setting up
dual boot with XP and Vista (it came installed with Vista) and I'm going through the whole process of creating a new ISO for XP cd so it'll recognize the SATA drive, etc.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out the best way to partition the 250GB drive and I wondered this:
Can I run games on both OSs using a single directory for game content? I mean, I would install, let's say COD4, on the Vista (Drive C) and XP (Drive D) OS, but would store the actual program files on a data drive (D). So, both OSs would have the necessary registry and system files in their directories on their own partitions due to double installation, but there would only be 1 copy of the game on drive D. Would this work? Anyone tried it?

In addition to that, how would you recommend breaking up a 250GB hard drive that is going to dual boot? 2,3,4 partitions? Do games have problems being installed on a different partition than the OS?
